PICKUP - THUR SEP 17 5:30pm

We've got a few nights left in our summer pickup season.  We're starting at 5:30pm now because it gets dark so early.  Unlike Tuesday when we were surprised to find youth soccer practice until 6pm, I've personally confirmed with Brat Rec & Park that we can get on the field at 5:30pm today.

Pickup Tues & Thurs at 5:30pm for these last 2 weeks of the summer season

We're starting our last 2 weeks of the summer pickup season, and moving the start time up to 5:30pm because it's getting dark so early.  Bring a light and a dark shirt (so you can play on either team) and come on down to West River Park for some September evening fun.

NO PICKUP TONIGHT - THUR SEP 10

While I think it's a ton of fun to play in the rain, I've noticed that rain tends to decrease the number of players that show up.  Since I can't come tonight for other reasons, and I know Nell is out too, I'm going to cancel pickup tonight.  I don't want a few hardy people making the trip in just to find there aren't enough people for a game.

See you all next Tuesday.  Remember, we'll be moving up the start time to 5:30 for the last 2 weeks.

PICKUP every Tues and Thur @ 6PM

Games are still happening every Tuesday and Thursday through Sept 24.  This week we're still starting at 6pm, but next week we should change to 5:30 because we're losing daylight fast.  Today sunset is at 7:13pm.

Please arrive early and be ready to play at 6pm!

I know several people come who don't regularly check FB or the BU website, but to get an idea for numbers please leave comment if you're coming.

The last day of summer pickup will be Thur Sep 24.  We'll follow with about 6 weeks of weekly games under the lights on the softball field, but the exact start date and day of the week have yet to be set.  Look for a poll to help choose the day of the week soon.
