Pickup night starts at 6pm, and we start a game as soon as we have enough players.  Please try to show up on time!  Recently we've been wasting daylight waiting for players to show up, when we could have been playing the entire time.

Tuesdays are intended to be beginner-friendly.  We focus on inclusive play (everyone getting their turn to catch and throw on the field), and taking time to talk about rules and plays on the field.  Ask questions, give patient answers, and friendly tips to your fellows players.

Pre-Long Weekend Pickup Tonight at 6pm

Could there be a better way to end a work week and kick off a long weekend than a game of Ulti pickup on a summer night?

No.  The answer is no, there could not.  Warmup starts at 6pm, game starts as soon as there are numbers.

It's a pickup game, so bring both a light and a dark shirt so you're ready to play on either team.  Despite my dire warnings of the dangers of wearing ambiguous colors, there were multiple grey shirts on Tues and whatever Eric was wearing when he immediately got a shirt foul.  For everyone's benefit, I will now provide a complete list of colors that are unambiguously dark and unambiguously light:
Dark - Black.
Light - White.

PICKUP every Tues and Thur @ 6PM

I see a 25% chance of rain during Ultimate time tonight.  That's a 75% chance of NOT rain, with a 25% chance of awesome layouts.  Warmup starts at 6pm, and we'll start a game as soon as we have numbers.

Everyone is always welcome at Brattleboro Ultimate, and Tuesdays are meant to be even more newbie-friendly than Thursdays. We'll take more time to explain rules, and discourage plays that just involve the best handler and the fastest cutter. It's not a day to take it easy though - there is usually someone better than you on the other team to line up against.

  -You can register and pay online, or at the field.  $25 for 3 nights, or $50 for the season.
  -It's pickup.  Bring a light and a dark shirt, so you're ready to play on either team.  Gray shirts will be meet with suitable heckling.
  -Brattleboro Ultimate discs sell for $10 each.

Pickup Tonight at 6pm then Top of the Hill Grill after 8pm

Thunderstorms are blowing through, but the forecast says there is only a small chance of storms after 6pm.  I'll be a little late tonight, around 6:15.

A few of us are going to Top of the Hill Grill for some great BBQ (including tasty vegi dishes) after disc tonight, and everyone is invited.  Kelsey's Katfish, here I come!  I'll be heading there a little after 8, so not playing as late as we often do.  I wanted to announce that earlier, but I was worried we'd have to call disc off due to weather.
